Privacy and stored data

Quimio stores your selected photos, custom questions, settings, and game progress locally. When finding similar photos, it compares faces and content only on your device. App data is excluded from system backups.

We do not send audio or transcripts to a server or store them. If on-device recognition is unavailable, use the buttons.

Select photos with the system picker; additional access is only needed for optional features. The microphone and speech recognition enable commands during play. Change permissions in system settings. System services, iCloud and connected displays are also subject to their providers’ policies.

When playing on TV, we send the game display to the connected television. The system may download photos already in iCloud to your device.

Delete data

Local data is protected by the system and remains until deleted in the app or the app is uninstalled. On iOS, the free-game counter is stored separately in Keychain. Purchases are processed by the relevant store (App Store or Google Play); we cannot access your payment card details.

We'll remove people, face data, your prepared collection, and game progress. Originals in your Photos library will stay.

Original photos, Pro access, and the number of free quizzes used will be preserved.

Contact form and email

This website neither sends nor stores form data. Only when you send the email do you share your address, optional name and message with readmio and its email provider. We use it for support based on our legitimate interest in communicating or performing a contract. We retain it for your request and follow-up, longer only for legal duties or protecting rights. No newsletters without a separate signup. Do not send unnecessary sensitive data or family photos. Your email provider’s policies also apply.

Website operation

There are no advertising or analytics scripts or tracking cookies. Your language preference is stored only in this browser; clear site data to remove it. Images and styles are hosted with the site. Hosting may process IP addresses, request times and technical data for delivery and security.

Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where it is the legal basis. We cannot access data held only on your device. Email hi@readmio.com. You can complain to a supervisory authority in your country of habitual residence; in Czechia, this is Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů.

Children and policy changes

A parent or guardian chooses appropriate content and supervises children during family play. We update this policy when the app or website changes; the date appears above. Feature availability depends on the platform and device.
